First of all, Hello again. Had a bit of an off spell there. I post when I feel like it and... well.. I haven't for quiet some time. Quick update:
We are good. Annie is working at the barn (Pottery Barn) a lot these days. We see less of each other, but still enough, and more than a lot of couples we know. Annie started learning violin. I started teaching an "Intro to Geographic Information Systems" (GIS) course at the University of Oregon. I am enjoying it a lot. It will just last a term and makes me much busier, but its fine. Moby is as much a rascal as he has ever been (and maybe more so).
Got the February National Geographic today. "Polygamy in America" was the cover story. I'll bet you can guess what the story focused on... and where it focused. The article is fine, polygamy is what it is and was what it was.
My thoughts for this post focus more on the fact that those of us who are American Mormons and have been for more than a generation or two, are mostly the products of polygamy. Annie and I certainly are. This will be the case with greater and greater frequency as these family "bushes" expand into into future family trees. If one of the ideas was to "multiply and replenish" then Mission Accomplished!
I expect to get a few questions about this one. I fully accept my polygamist heritage without apology, and simply make my understanding of the history of it (and of them) clear to those curious.
Check out the article from a newsstand near you!

I read this article. I just hope that most of the people that read this won't think it is our church---they always do though--. Good to hear again from you and hear that you two are keeping very busy. Love you so much Mom
