Well, it has happened. The inevitable. The day I have been dreading and yet hoping for with an anxious curiosity. It came sooner than I thought it would. It is the day when my alma maters would take to battling each other on the football field. It was emotional enough when BYU played the Ducks... and in many ways more emotionally divided. Still, This is personal on many levels. To add to the excitement, my freind David Stockdale invited me to go to the game. I will be able to revel in the exitement in Autzen Stadium! Here are the facts and my conclusion:
1. I was MUCH more into extracurricular activities at Utah State than I was at U of O
2. I have much more Aggie periphanalia than I do Duck
3. In all honesty I have more Aggie pride than Duck pride
4. Sometimes I forgot that Utah State even had a football team
5. I have gotten some Duck fever here in Eugene
6. I will get beat up if I root for Utah State.......
Ducks it is!!!!
Although (between you and me) if Utah State wins... it will be kind of cool and exciting....

I agree Jake, I am an alum to Utah State and SUU. However SUU really doesn't compare to USU in my eyes. By the way I got your MP4's and wow I love the new songs! Thanks a ton. My new favorite song is "Beat of the Drum". Also, I have never seen you with short hair...very nice. As for U of O vs. USU Im with you go Ducks. Its hard to root for USU's football team.

Yeah Im a USU and BYU alum.. and I when it comes to aggie football I gave up a long time ago. I will be really surprised if usu wins more then 1 game..
Jake, it's AnnMarie. I found your blog from The Tolman's blog. Joe ran with Jeremy at Weber State. Sounds like things have been busy for you. It was funny to click on the Jake and Annie link and find pictures of you. How is Annie's sister doing...the one that married Riley? We heard they split. Hope all is well in Oregon.
You know Jake, you could have easily solved that dilemma by wearing one article of USU clothing, and One article of U of O clothing. Though, I would wear a USU shirt, that way if they did win by some small miracle, it's your torso that takes the brunt of the attack, and not your head or...other parts.
