I decided (rather spontaneously) to remove a stump in our backyard. By the end we were both heaving and hoing and strategizing on how to get this massive stump out of the ground. Here is to our forefathers who frequented this activity. Hats off to them!! What a back breaking excercise. It is a good start for our swimming pool!!

Oh my word!!! Your dad has done the tree stump removal thing before when he was young and tough. We just leave them in the ground now. Hey jake your hair is the shortest I have seen it in about 20 years. Looks real good for the hot weather. Love you both Mom

The two of you alone seriously got it out? My family had a stump that looked about half that size and it took several days and three strapping men to get it out. Am I catching evidence of super hero traits undercover?
