Context...

With Annie and kids out of town, I figured I would take the opportunity to do something I have wanted to do since C & H arrived... it is a good way to feel closer to them in their absence if nothing else.

Sometimes its easy to lose context on the miracles that happen in our lives. Change happens on a timetable that requires a little more patience than our Disney film spoiled minds can appreciate. This is a video trying to capture the miracle that is our little Henry and Charlotte.

It is more for my little family, but I figured there is no reason not to share. There have been many who have prayed and hoped for us for the last 4 years. This may give you all context as well.

The final song in this movie has been playing in my head for over a year. I knew it would be the song to this movie. This is becuase while driving to scout camp in the summer of 2009 (in the throws of infertility frustration) I was listening to this song and had the distinct impression that spirits beyond were letting me know that it was going to be alright, that they were coming. This song has represented that idea to me for a long time.

The miracle is not lost on us...

I can still remember that soggy, gray evening when I sat down at the bus stop next to you guys and thought, "what a cute, nice couple...there should be more people in world like them." Now there are two more. I am overjoyed at watching this all unfold.
