I aint never seen them, but my common sense tells me
that the Andes is foothills, and the Alps is for children...
these here is God's finest sculptorens
and there aint no laws for the brave ones
and there aint no asylums for the crazy ones
and there aint no churches except'n for this right here
and there aint no beasts except'n for the birds
by God I're a mountain man
and I'll live till an arrow or bullet finds me...

You're wearing off on me Jake. A flood of emotions ran through me as I read Dell's words of wisdom. I think its going to be movie night.
Okay, right now I am reading Heidi to my children. She is running free in the mountains with her grandpa. It seems such an amazing thing to have the chance to fully experience nature and be educated by her.
That poem totally hit the nail on the head--oh, that we could all be mountain men until we die.
Maybe this all sounds corney, but the best minds seemed to start out life with plenty of time to really study nature (maybe that isn't the best way to learn proper English, as exhibited in the poem, but in the end is that what really matters?).
Love ya, Jake
