Our backyard has turned into a salad!

Notice the before and after above....
Annie and I came home from Utah to find some significant growth in our garden! I looked back at our previous post on the garden and sure enough, that earth is procuding food!!! Its pretty thrilling to see the soil create something edible (and attractive).

We'll even be knee high by the 4th of July!! And thats MY knee!
Annie is hoping for little cabbage patch kids to pop out of our lettuce too.....I guess it doesn't work with lettuce... she is still hoping.

WOW! Great job you guys!

I had a few cabbage patch kids when I was a kid. They were much quieter than mine.☺

Our before and after pictures are the same. Yours looks so perfect. Please tell me you had to do a lot of weeding, or I will not be happy. Make a salad and enjoy and think of me. Love mom

Lettuce Patch Kids are just like Cabbage Patch Kids, only they taste like caesar salad instead of coleslaw! Annie, I am tagging you. I have a new blog that I posted the rules on; check it out on my profile. And your garden does look fantastic!

I've seen less appetizing growths in places, that's for sure :)
