An adventure revisited!

Annie and I watched Peewees Big Adventure this last weekend

with some of her family and it was really fun, but it was just as frightening

as it was fun, to realize how much of that movie was burned into my

mind and how much it may have influenced who I am as a

person ....... Anyway, it was a trip down memory lane for sure!

Yes but "Large Marge" was a nickname I had to work for YEARS to get rid of. LOL.

I too watched that movie not too long ago. I still quote it too! My favorite is the convict who went to prison for cutting off the mattress tag. However, the one movie I have not seen in years is the slightly lesser entertaining sequel, "Big Top Pee-Wee". By the way Jake, when are you going to be in town again?

derid and i used to watch that show a lot during our first year of marraige. it was like an inside joke that totally cracked us up. we tried watching it a few months ago and found it totally annoying. So we ahve either matured or have gotten too serious. long live pee-wee!

"The Alamo HAS no basement. They don't teach you that stuff in school, ...you just have to experience it."

I bought the DVD about a month ago and it had never been as funny to me! The same lines and parts i remember not being funny when i was little, were totally cracking me up 15 years later.

I have to say that just seeing that picture brought a smile to my face! David doesnt share an appreciation for PeeWee and his adventures. As a joke I gave him the movie for his birthday a few years ago.
I had to show him your blog to let him know that I am not alone in my fond memories of that movie. any idea how many times we watched that at our house as kids. "...she looked like this!" Slow motion over and over again!!
good times (fun for the kids)
