We had a fantastic vacation in New Hampshire. It was epic! Water, Sun, Sleep, Food, Mitt Romney.... Anyway, it really was a great time. Thanks to the Barlow clan for making it so much fun. I will post some vacation pics, but I need to get the good ones from my sister-in-law first. Until then I will attempt to entertain you with nothing but the hair on my face. I experimented with my beard this last few weeks (its been several years). Now that I am back to the professional world I figured I should shave it, but not without the mandatory "What can I do with it" session. Here are the results. Enjoy!

You guys look so tan and vacationed! I thought that part of the reason you went into your field was so that you could be all hairy and natural. by-the-way i love the beard look on you -really (not so much the chops and stash- you'd have to move to texas to pull that one off as "professional")!
I am a huge fan of the beard. There is just something liberating about growing out the beard for a few weeks.

wow, you guys looks so great in that top picture!
I think you are one of those guys who could pull the whole facial hair thing off, if you chose--and your wife approved!
You guys are such a cute couple. Is Annie's hair short? It looks adorable. I'd like some more cute hair pictures of her.
I'm excited to see your pictures- we're leaving for NH in early August and I'm so ANxious!!!
You should keep the chops and goatee. It looks totally professional. It was a great vacation. The kids want to live in New Hampshire now.
Aren't you still living in Eugene? I thought facial hair was professional . . .
I'm dying over the facial hair!
You are not allowed to shave that until after this Sunday. Don't you dare. Don't you dare. Don't you dare. That is the coolest facial hair I have seen in a while.
Never mind. I guess you shaved it. Blake Sad. You were my FHH (Facial Hair Hero).
beautifully sun-kissed the two of you are!! and annie, i LOVE the bangs(almost as much as jake's entertaining facial hair)
MAN, I am so jealous of your beard. When I try and grow one it looks like I have ants on my face.
