and Von was a-fix
to the head of young Joshua
Just arriving you see
The start of the Von Callister family
He led with a big stick
and used it once or twice
But if were all being honest
he was generally nice
A trendsetter, music and guitar come to mind
and increasing baldness of the male pattern kind
A poet beyond measure, a comic for all ages
and a mental encyclopedia with 4,000 pages
From your wife and your children who know you so well
from your parents and siblings whose love never fails
from people you know in the state penatentury

so creative and clever. that first picture is just too funny. I can't believe that what he was wearing was acceptable let alone cool ( because of course if he wore it- it must have been at least kinda cool)
Funny stuff. I do remember those contractions. HE was three weeks early and I was not prepared. Love you Josh!!!! The clothes are funny, but on vacations it seemed that you kids just packed random things and didn't give it much thought.

when, my little brother, you make jokes about male pattern baldness..be prepared for what is assured to come your way. i cannot even begin to believe that i ever thought those shorts were cool..( i know i did, but C'MON! ) i am sure i got them from Matt Carling, and thought i was the coolest kid because of that! You my brother probably inherited them... SO THERE!
thanks for the poem, i still remember when we used to email poems back and forth all the time..they were hilarious. i wish i had record of them somewhere!
