A sweet little thing came down from heaven
in the crisp cool Fall of 1977
Von and Maureen were thrilled indeed
Josh took some convincing, He saw little need
As years went on she became the protector
A second mother for the vulnerable sector
She was always studying and learning hard
and much more eager than I to show her report card
Of all who took lessons, only she LEARNED piano
it speaks to her dedication and desire to.....play...piano (nothing rhymes with piano)
she was the first to leave off to school
the weekends when she returned were truly a jewel
The first to get married, the first to be mom
A standard indeed, yeah... Becky's the bomb
Now shes in Europe..in a picturesque spot
she has always been so Euro.....yeah...NOT!
But shes doing fine and thats plain to see
she grows where shes planted, what a great example to you and me
Love ya Beck, Happy 30....something
Hope your Birthday is really......something (dang it...)
I dont know Happy birthday in Italian... so I will reduce my self to stereotypes:
A' Heppy' a' Birsday 'a !!!

That was so fun to read, Jake!
As you get older birthdays are so different, ya know?!

Love ya, Jake, and thanks for remebering!!
wow! a poem. well, i guess she deserves it.
By the way Jake, happy birthday in Italian is Buon Compleanno. You know you could have asked me, but then again it really wouldn't have been you if you had.
Hey Annie, so I was "tagged" and now I am "tagging" you, I thought it was kind of fun because it is mostly about your hubby, so check it out on my blog and you will see what I am talking about!
