Lest we stagnate...

You've got to keep it real with the blog.. and you've got to keep it fresh. I recognize this all sounds cliche, like early 90's hip-hop (which is fresh on the mind after my viewing of 90's SNL episodes on Netflix), but it is true.
Annie and I's world continues on in relatively blissful baby chaos. We are indeed stretched in many direction and grossly under slept, but if we are being honest (and I expressed my blanket blog commitment to "keep it real") we are the happiest we have been in a long time. In the roller coaster of life, we are enjoying one of those high points where you have a moment to observe your context widely from a clear positive perspective. It is my hope that lifes roller coaster at this point is patterned after the old rollercoaster at Lagoon which permitted a reasonable stretch at this higher level (then again, maybe my comparison is weak considering the old rollercoaster at Lagoon could fall at any given moment sending its helpless passengers into a firey death....) Whew...
Anyway. Summer approaches and winter is just barely leaving, near as I can tell the afternoon of June 14th between the hours of 2 pm and 6 pm were Spring. We have been enjoying being outside more. The kids love it! We set up the teepee last night for a farewell party for some friends. It was great!
I am finally doing something that I have wanted to do for a long time (pretty much since I left Utah) and that is put a little band together. I finally have the pieces together more or less. If you are in Eugene and here what sounds like washed up musicians covering Tom Petty, don't worry we have to be done by 9:00.
We had a little photo shoot the other day and got some GREAT pics. Enjoy.

That's awesome about the band! Spring came to Moscow, now it won't leave to make way for Summer. But from what I can gather from the locals, spring IS summer here. Cute new pics of the kids, they're growing faces!

Darling pictures of the little ones....and I agree with Dan, they are growing faces or in other words you can tell they have great personalities in there!!! Life sure does have it's ups and downs. Keep making record of the ups so you can enjoy those memories when the downs come. And remember that it will ALWAYS go back UP!!!!
