I think Yule agree

Once again that time is near
Christmas morning is almost hear
But ponder on this simple theme
that Christmas Eve may better capture your dream

Just like Friday Night is somehow more
than the rigor and distraction of Saturday's chores
or how the smell of fresh bread can ring a more pleasant tune
than eating it and knowing it will all be over soon

You've bought all the presents
you know what they'll get
you know that this christmas
they'll never forget

Your not quite certain
whats in that box
it could be a jacket...
but it could also be socks

The darkness outside makes the Christmas lights brighter
your snuggled up with hot chocolate or hot apple cider

You wonder how Christmas has come so fast
It certainly didn't in Christmases past
You want it to slow down, you remember that feeling
The day after Christmas can be so unappealing

So Come all ye faithful, and let us rejoice!
and for this, Christmas EVE may be the better choice
More singing, more thinking, more hope for the season
more heartfelt regard for the genuine reason

This Christmas Eve, please remember and cherish this thought
its more about what you'll BE giving than what you utlimately got
I think if Jesus was choosing what is right
He'd pass on Christmas morning for this Oh Holy Night!

Merry Christmas Eve everyone. We will me miss all of you, and be thinking of you tonight!!

Christmas Eve is always the best!

It is fun to read your thoughts,Jacob, especially when written as a poem.

Another Christmas finished, but next year's will be here sooner than we think, eh?!

I agree that Christmas Eve is better than Christmas day, but you're forgetting (or plain missing) Boxing Day!
