I wish I could provide a picture with this post... but as of this moment... I cannot place the camera. I am sure it will reappear....right?
Anyway. Annie and I are always busy with our work with the youth in our congregation. Every week requires at least two days that are dedicated in some manner to a lesson or activity/event. But we both recently wrapped up something that required a bit more attention and dedication: Girls Camp and Scout Camp... and the feeling is: GOOD.
Annie was Girls Camp director for our ward and was very involved in inventing fun activities and creating crafty things (which she recruited me for in several late night craft sessions... which I think she still regrets). She did a great job, and had some great help! The girls had a wonderful time. No surprise right? How could you not enjoy a week in the wilderness with Annie?
My Scout Camp was the week afterward. It also was very involving and turned out really good.
Last night we relaxed on the couch to a movie in the way that you can only appreciate when you have taken on something challenging and completed it successfully.... I guess I had better get ready for Wednesday night....

This is Mom at Rachel's. I so know the feeling and.....Good on you both!!!!! There are reasons that you two have the callings you do. I need to add that camp director is one of my all time favorite church callings. It was also one of my hardest and most time consuming callings. But very rewardin. Relax and enjoy a few days off Love you guys Mom
