This may not surprise some of you...but maybe the rest of you need to know! I feel like I am living a subtle lie by not telling the world my secret. Let it be known hereafter that their are times that I very genuinely enjoy the following songs and artists....

If you dont recognize some of these, I garauntee if you you-tube it, you will know them. What can I say, I have soft spot in my soul for 70's fluff. The 70's were the best six months of my life. I like contemporary music... but there is just something missing...maybe it is simply a nostalgic element.

I knew all those songs and felt that swell in my heart I get when I think about happy things.
Top of your list is my all-time favorite Lionel Richie song "Hello". It is a song you have to blast so you can really feel the emotion along with him! The others are great, too.
Thank you FM 100 in Utah for keeping these songs alive for me through my teens, and until I could collect them all on my own.
TMI!!!! J/K I absolutely love the music out of the 70's, much better than the 80's!!
I surely wasn't surprised by this 'confession', the first step to recovery Jake is confession. may i congratulate you on this big step. there are certain songs that remind me of wearing my toy gun holster with a broken six shooter, brittish knight shoes and wearing my ryder PIE hat (you know blue hat with the mesh in the back and the ugly foam front...man i loved that thing) or even just waking up in the morning and running in to breakfast in my pajamas..all of these songs do that for me.
Jake Love them!!! that is not surprising eithr I am sure. Top on the list is "LOve to see you tonight" and anything Lional Richie and of coarse Carpenters. I love to listen to the old songs.....and even older songs:) mom
Last night we saw a show on PBS with Peter Centera, he was singing the Karate Kid song and it was awesome! Got to love those old classics!
you need to make a playlist for your blog and include those songs. i think i like most of those...
Yeah, not a big surprise there...
