Sometimes the unplanned ones are the best! We woke up Saturday Morning and decided that we should do something exciting. So we decided to go to Sweet Creek Falls near the coast. It has been second on many a potential adventure list, and we decided that today it was first! Glad we did! Any familt that come and visit us, can now expect a trip to these falls. After a gorgeous drive through a coastal range ranching community you arrive at the trailhead (about 10 miles from 126 to Florence). The trail is a fun combination of alternating pools and falls and just wonderful blend of rock and water. We had a great time. we made Moby ford a raging stream (well, I did Annie thought I was being insensitive...the dog has to get somme testosterone somewhere...he is certainly not getting it from his mother). He had a good time I think. On our way back we got a greasy burger that was terrific!!!! When we got home we went and saw Get Smart at the dollar theater, horrible seats..but good flick!!! It was one of those random great Saturdays...God bless em'''

Looks like fun. Got to love those kind of Saturdays. Annie you look super pretty in the top pic.
Sweet Creek Falls is so pretty. I haven't been there in so long.
Sounds fun! I've never been!
I LOVED Get Smart.
Fun day. Sadly I don't know if I've ever done that hike.
Question- will either of you email me your address? Laura wants to send you a wedding announcement!!!

Hope you guys are well- will you be in OR for Christmas?
This is just too hilarious... Teresa and I JUST did the exact same thing last Friday (the day before you guys)! (check out our blog for a similar story). We LOVED it there and can't believe we've never been before. Looks like we'll have to take a trip together sometime... and yes, even the dogs can have tons of fun there.
Jake- Hey long-time neighbor! How have you been? I don't remember how I stumbled on to your blog, but I've been meaning to write for quite a while... I wrote Becky a while back, but haven't heard from her yet; hopefully soon!
Anyways, it looks beautiful where you and Annie live... I'd love to hear from ya! I'll have to give Trent your blog address...
That sounds so beautiful. Someday, I'm coming to visit. Promise.
I love weekends like that--and glad to hear you finished off right. That burger looks divine.
Don't worry about Moby Jake. Compared to Hinckley, Moby is the bravest, manliest water loving dog out there! Hinckley gets bent out of shape when its drizzling and we take him out to go to the bathroom. He really really hates it and even once he is back inside he sulks around the house for the next 20 minutes. The thing is - I am not the one that supports this wimpy behavior. I'll bet you can guess who the culprit is;) I'll give you a hint... Annie is to Jake as Blank is to Allison.
