Thomas CallisterSo Lee Callister, our distant cousin, sent a link for this cool family tree site. I found some interesting stuff on their. It was probably stuff that has been availabel to me for years, but the coolest thing is the pictures and profiles of our distant cousins (The desendants of Joseph Platte Callister's Half siblings) Anyway, I dont know that I had ever seen this picture of Thomas Callister. Pretty cool huh?
I learned some other cool stuff too....
Thomas Callister arrived in Salt Lake in September 1847 with some of the first groups of Pioneers. He lived in Salt Lake until 1855, apparently had a place out by Mill Creek.
Anyway... pretty cool stuff

jake, i have been to this site! it is awesome. i had a picture of Thomas Callister with his counselors up against a tree. he is at least 6 inches taller than the other two and his beard is tremendous.. i was pretty proud!
